From the Philippines to Canada, she’s ready to take over the world. Halifax’s Filipina Goddess of Moon, Akira Mayari it’s one of the city’s newest drag performers. She won first place on her debut at an open stage show, and she’s been on a roll ever since. She’s here to represent Asian excellence with her fierce looks and sickening dance moves. Get ready, because Akira’s gonna dance the night away!

Anna Mona-Pia (they/she) is a triple-threat performer/producer with the goal of creating a more inclusive and diverse drag community. They strive to create space for queer artists to explore and thrive while also tackling gender and sexuality issues through their art. She holds a B.Ed from Acadia University specializing in Drama and English. She is the Silver winner in The Coast for Best Drag Performer of 2022 and Silver for Best Drag Performer & up-and-coming Community Leader.

Atlantic Boylesque is a burlesque company celebrating a diversity of forms in a non-toxic, non-hetero- normative and sexually positive way. They are a collaboration of dancers, musicians, designers, actors, photographers, artists, a magician and the person living next door. Since exploding onto the scene in May 2022, this merry band of misfits has been making some very sexy waves. Pushing the boundaries of burlesque, the company has produced several fully scripted plays, legendary Halloween parties (including one in century old church), an inter-planetary rave and special choreographed group numbers with every sold-out show. You haven’t seen boylesque until you’ve seen these bad boys of burlesque.

Awful Nice is the side project of Halifax producer and DJ, Qurse [Techgnosis Records, Alpaka Muzik]. Focusing on a more soulful sound and pushing a niche blend of disco, jazz, house & garage.
Whether it’s a crowded club or an intimate lounge, Awful Nice will make you want to hit the dancefloor.

Worker bee by day, and a bag of seduction by night, Beef Pattie is a black mixed with black with a splash of sass performer, who gives viewers an experience no one wants to miss but only a few can handle. Reminding you that amazing things come in big packages and Pattie is bursting at the seams. Your boyfriend, girlfriend and sweeties in between are hungry for Beef Pattie.

Blue Lobster Burlesque was founded in Halifax in 2017 by burlesque veterans Kay Licious and Scarlett Sparks and includes a varied cast of experienced and passionate performers. Brand spanking new co-producers Sin Amen and Honey de Mele are committed to continuing the Blue Lobster Burlesque celebration of artistic expression, confident weirdness, and glamorous ridiculousness.

Bridget Von Snaps – One of the OG halifax Queens, Known to dabble with witchcraft & dark magic she will leave you breathless and wanting more! Bridget Has been slaying stages since 2004 and paved the waty for many halifax perfomersa to date!

Cookie Cunningham is a drag king of flare and style, he likes to shake it up and shake things loose, so always prepare for something to come off. When professor utonium put this one together after the powerpuff girls, the ingredients mixed to make cookie Cunningham, were black excellence, sensuality and a whole lot of confidence.

Crim Son is no stranger to events. A finagling fledging found in the darkened shadows of theatre backstages, this is a stage kitten who likes to get his paws delightfully dirty. From glamorous drag to witty comedy, titillating burlesque to quirky variety, he can work them all. Whether it’s wrangling performers, running tech, or cleaning up feathers; Crim Son has a keen eye for detail and a passion for performance. You might not really know what he does, but you’ll definitely miss him when he’s gone

Diana B. Tease is Halifax’s dashing diabetic diva, and her blood sugar is probably higher than yours. Diana is a queer activist, founder of Halifax Queer Solidarity Project, co-host of the Gay Expectations podcast, and co-founder of Glitter & Grit Events.

Elle Lixir (she/her) is a Chinese-Canadian neo-burlesque artist born and raised in Vancouver, BC. In 2021, she joined Halifax’s Neo Novas Burlesque troupe. Elle has performed from coast to coast across Canada and appeared virtually internationally. With her sweet and sassy personality mixed with an odd sense of humour, it’s hard to guess what to expect from her performances. Her smile and laugh are said to be infectious and will leave you wanting more.

Chris Cochrane is a Trans Black activist and public speaker. She speaks and educates about her lived experience through her intersectionality. Chris works toward creating spaces for QTBIPOC people. Chris is the former Vice Chair of Halifax Pride (2020-2022) where she uses that platform to ensure equity for all of the the community, while focusing on our marginalized and racialized communities. She is also known as her drag persona Elle Noir where she as fierce on stage as she is her activism. Elle Noir is a 18 Year veteran of Drag . Know as a local legend and Winner of The Best Halifax Drag Performer for the last 5 years consecutiley .Know as the Beyonce of Halifax she, Elle bring new Skool energy as well as being able to reach through the generations to give a nod to The Divas of yesteryear such as Tina and Diana.

Euphoria is an experienced performer, dancer, aerialist, and member of the Neo Novas Burlesque Troupe. She brings sass and ass to every stage she graces, just one look at her and you’ll be left in a state of intense excitement and happiness.

G-Spott (they/them) is a drag artist and the hottest nonbinary bombshell to hit the stages of Halifax! G-Spott loves to ruffle feathers and think outside the box into the waters of androgyny. As a person of colour, G-Spott takes pride in being an Arab performer and challenges the norm daily. Dancing from the stage to the sheets, the G-Spott experience is one not to miss!

Honey De Mele is the sweet glamour clown of the East Coast. A proud member of Blue Lobster Burlesque Honey has been happily gracing the stages in Halifax since returning in 2018 after getting her burly start in Toronto. She also moonlights as a musical theatre performer and you may have caught her as Magenta in Neptune Theatre’s recent production of The Rocky Horror Show. She is sweet and always leaves you a little sticky.

iinchworm (they/them) is an autistic and trans bass music DJ from Halifax. Bring on the squirmy wormy bass!

illuminate is a duo of lovers consisting of Lumen Lux and Nate Currie. Mixing fire with the didgeridoo they decided to take this act to the stage and they will be making their debut at the Atlantic Sex Show with the musical stylings by an incredible mixed Indigenous DJ, sp!nalflu!d.

inesS Circus has been based in downtown Halifax since 2005, providing outstanding classes, parties, and camps for all ages and abilities. The troupe will showcase a stunning array of aerial feats including silks, trapeze, flying pole, and aerial hoop, guaranteeing a mesmerizing experience for all.

Atlantic Boylesque’s sweetheart Jake Jockerson (He/Him) is here to snatch your heart and blow your minds. After a year of success showcasing his love for burlesque, gogo dancing, and the flow arts, this stud is pumped and ready to set the stage on fire! Inspired by contemporary music, art, and dance, and with an energy as fierce as his dance moves, Jake brings the art of burlesque to whole a new level.

Jo Mama is your slutty bisexual best friend. Who better than this man to tantalize and amaze your senses. Jo Mama will make you question everything but mainly just your sexuality.

Founder and Producer of Blue Lobster Burlesque, Kay Licious embodies glamorous ridiculousness and confident weirdness. Kay has been performing since 2006, when she got her start with Pink Velvet Burlesque. She also teaches burlesque classes and workshops, and produces fabulous burlesque and variety shows.

Khris O’Neil is a DJ and producer from Sydney, Nova Scotia. He produces music of many genres including House, Bass House, Fidget House, and Bassline. He has signed with several record labels including Buygore Records, Stomp N Wonk Records, Deep Hype Sounds, and Sugar Shack Recordings. He has played at many festivals and clubs and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music. He also won the Borgore Remix Competition for remixing Hanson’s “MMMbop” and Baha Men’s “Who Let The Dogs Out”.

Kyann Pepper. She’s comically bewildered and mildly hot. Pretty Poison. A Lethal Dose of Allure and Temptation.

KittyBass is one of the East Coast dance music scene’s most versatile DJs, effortlessly switching between styles such as grime, bassline, U.K. garage and dubstep. Winning gold for best DJ in Halifax by The Coast 2022, she has continued to gain serious momentum over the course of her career, releasing 5 original songs, playing Valhalla Sound Circus in Montreal, Future Forest, and opening for heavy hitters such as Michael Sparks, NUbass, MPH, Dr. Fresch, IDHS, Craymak, Distinct Motive, Wraz, Cloverdale, Badger UK, ATTYA, Taiki Nulight, No Thanks, Eleganto, Substance, Stylust Beats, The Librarian, Aaron Jackson, Ryan Playground, Notlo and many more.

Lacia Majora is a queer, Toronto transplant living it up in Kjipuktuk. This babe is here to make you laugh, make you cry, and make you question your life’s choices.

Laura Selenzi (she/her) is an accomplished performer, choreographer and instructor of Bellydance, Burlesque, Fire Arts and fusion dance. She is the owner of Serpentine Studios Inc., creating learning and performance opportunities for artists since 2007. Laura has performed all over the world; from Toronto to Turkey and India, to Austin and Las Vegas. She offers Bellydance classes from beginner to professional level in Dartmouth & Halifax, NS. She will be joined by her students for a fusion bellydance performance.

Born in Halifax but raised in the Prairies this artist has come back to her Atlantic home to shake off the dirt and get get salty! They put the spunk in spunky and and keep things FUNky!

Lumen Lux is a multifaceted circus performer who fell in love with the arts at a young age. Beginning her fire journey in 2016, Lumen progressed from spinning fire to eating fire to breathing it. Their many talents also include hooping, flow arts, gogo and burlesque. Lumen Lux has performed at festivals such as Evolve Music Festival, Fire and Water Cultural Festival, Nocturne, Future Forest, Fredericton Pride and many other events throughout Atlantic Canada They have done collaborations with many other artists and also works with performing organizations such as Serpentine Studios and Luminosity Circus and have recently started producing her own burlesque and drag shows under the alias Lumen Lux Productions

Matricide is Halifax’s own sleep paralysis demon. Drawing their inspiration from the punk movement, fetish and horror, this tantalizing performer is here to put it all on display for you.

Meg B pays homage to dance music; it’s all about getting the people moving. House, disco, and techno are key components of her sets, with a passion for this music and culture to the community she grew up in (there is no shortage of dance floors or musically-minded people on the South Shore). There’s nothing better to Meg B than seeing dance floors fill up with that good energy.

The Hunchback of Notre GLAM! MissShapen is the hardest-hustlin’ stage kitten in town, and is winner of the Imperial Burlesque Canada 2022 award for Best Kitten in the whole darn nation. She prides herself on being over-prepared for every possible backstage calamity, and is debating changing her name to “Yes-I-Have-Pastie-Tape-You-Can-Use”. From body diversity to bobby pins, MissShapen always brings a lot to every team lucky enough to have this hot commodity on board

Providing sex-positive edutainment, Mistress Kinky D’Zires has been a burlesque performer and MC for over 10 years. Currently Kinky is pursuing her national Sexual Heath Educator Certification to support her work providing positive inclusive sex education. Her passion for wanting everyone to have their desires fulfilled makes her the best choice to reward or punish you.

Mizz Anthrope is a multi-disciplined circus artist with a background in aerials, contortion, fire and object manipulation. She always aims to excite, be it bending over backwards, eating fire, or showing a little skin. She leaves audiences mesmerized with her dynamic blend of contortion, lights, and fire. Mizz Anthrope always brings the heat to the stage to light a spark of circus magic to your life.

Mya Foxx is an Inuk drag performer known for her high energy performances and choreography. Mya is heavily inspired by the late 90s and early 2000s and incorporates music and fashion from this era. Mya also was featured on season 2 of OutTV’s “Call Me Mother” where she was the first drag artist from The Maritimes to ever compete on a televised competition show

Cat Murray is an Aerial apparatus instructor and performance artist with Halifax Circus who began her circus journey in 2017. Cat also has a background in fine arts through NSCAD University that she incorporates into her current creative processes, and performance work through story telling characters, costuming, and set design. Most recently, she has been delving into creative research with nontraditional aerial apparatus and personal movement style. Her latest work is an investigation into the omnipresent inspirations found particularly in non-conventional innovations – the processes we might not initially value or consider to look at more closely.

 Nebula is a multiprop flow performer born and raised here in Kjipuktuk, NS. No stranger to movement or the stage, Nebula has been a gymnast, dancer & performer from the age of seven, traveling as far as New York to compete and perform! Taking a few years off after high-school, Nebula reignited her love and passion for movement during the covid lockdowns through online dance and circus classes, ultimately leading her to the world of hooping. Once things opened up again Nebula was thrown into the festival scene and her life turned upside down in the best way! After being gifted her first set of fans by the incredible pendragon, she is thrilled to see where this journey takes her. Nebula is known to bring intense energy to whatever stage she performs on and is sure to keep you captivated by her movement.

The Neo Novas are a collaboration of artists including dancers, aerialists, performers, prop manipulators and teasers from Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS). Founded by Martini Foxx, and co produced by The Lady Corbeau, the Neo Novas can be found performing their wild theme showcases throughout the city, in collaboration with venues, events and festivals. They have been dazzling audiences with their creativity and hilarity, wiggles and jiggles, since their formation in 2019.

Oliver Twisted is the producer of Atlantic Boylesque. Honey Beaver is a regular kitten for the troupe, formerly known as Honey Badger, is one of Halifax’s OG Roller Derby skaters. Both have teamed to bring something weird and wonderfully violent to the stage.

Queera Bang (they/them) is a non-binary performer/producer with the goal of creating more access to queer events, safe spaces, and visibility for youth in rural Nova Scotia. They strive to create shows and spaces that celebrate gender diversity and drag beyond the world of Rupaul. Queera is known for their roller skating antics and ridiculousness on the mic.

Randi E. Rogenous is a non-binary drag icon. They exist in the space beyond all binaries and boxes – all of the weird and the wonderful. Picture a collision of a 70s rockstar heartthrob and a genderless extraterrestrial being that’s stuck on earth. Their drag will make you question everything you know about sexuality and gender.

Delightful, dramatic and occasionally delusional, Rosie Blooms digs into her strange feelings and fantasies and presents them for the world to see and judge… while also taking off her clothes. She has been performing burlesque in Halifax for 5 years and is influenced by her background in musical theatre and storytelling. She thrives on applause and dropped jaws; watch her bloom before your eyes!

sp!nalflu!d is a queer, 2spirit DJ from Kjipuktuk. Driven by bass and rhythm, he spilled onto the local EDM scene in 2022 and has played a variety of shows since. Unbound by genre, you never know exactly what to expect from sp!nalflu!d – only that they’ll take you on a journey of movement and feeling.

SpiraLynn (Christy Sanford) is an award-winning aerialist based in Halifax, NS. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in aerial silks, aerial hoop, and ground-based character work. SpiraLynn’s dynamic performances have graced events like the Scotia Bank Center and Live Art Dance. As a competitive breakdancer and DJ, her artistic background influences her captivating acts. Certified in Gyrotonic, Contortion, and Aerial Circus Arts, she brings creativity and strength to every performance. When not performing, she runs inesS® Circus, her downtown Halifax studio.

the going price for gold brings a elated and celebratory sound to funky, soulful, global and bouncy beats. A hypnotic, experimental ethic and an underlying depth of purpose brings a little something extra to the party for you to get lost in.

The Lady Corbeau (she/her) is an award winning Burlesque Performer, emcee and visual artist residing in Atlantic Canada. She is an active member of Neo Novas, and Blue Lobster Burlesque troupes, as well as can be seen performing with Serpentine Studios. She has been producing shows on the side, notably “Clue”, “The Bob Show” and “Animal Planet”. Blurring the lines between classic showgirl and comedic pop culture references, she is always bringing sexy and strange to each stage she finds herself on. She has been performing live Burlesque since 2017, and her other works have been published in magazines and art books worldwide since 2006.

They’re not your typical house plant! A Tiny Orchid blooms in only the perfect conditions; a hazy low lit room filled with cheers, glitter and tassels twirling. Once you see their petals you’ll understand why this flower is so captivating. Water occasionally and tip often.

Vero is ready to steal hearts and shake ass while serving her own distinctive sound. Her sets focus on unique mashups, large energy and deep bass.

You’re in for a memorable multi-genre performance covering Bass House, Tech House, Techno and whatever she’s obsessed with at that moment. Known for her sexy bass lines and dirty vocals – this crate digger promises to show you fresh and unheard gems.

Relatively new to the scene, she has already graced the notable stages of KAOS, Lighthouse, Critical Mass Festival, Static Events and Future Forest Festival. This is her first time touching the stage at the Atlantic Sex Show, and she has something sweaty and special prepared to mark the occasion. Strap in.

A newcomer to the Kjipuktuk/Halifax EDM community, WORKER is a trans femme force ready to go off-leash. Mixing leftfield bass with a dose of dubstep and trap into a sound she calls THE GRIND, WORKER creates sets that push the heavy to the brink while remaining groovy and danceable. With her trademark cheekiness and GET-IT-DONE attitude, WORKER is primed to transport you to the land of filthy flesh freaks (and you’ll never want to leave).

X (They/Them) is a non binary babe from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. As a visual artist who uses drag as their medium, X uses their platform to explore the limits of gender, persona, and creative self expression through futuristic music, fashion and high energy visuals. You never know what you’re going to get with a X performance!
